"The beautiful lake - those who are looking for something stylish will choose this hotel, which has become an institution. A good hotel also needs a good restaurant, state the hosts, who take care all-round of the well-being of guests, whether it is activities or entertainment. The chef works in a classical style, while keeping the dishes exciting with new elements. However, it can also happen that pressure mounts in the kitchen when the gourmet dining room and à la carte restaurant Vinum are both fully occupied at the same time, which results in longer waiting times.
A fine amuse-bouche comes in the form of beef tartare with chili scrambled egg and cream raviolo with cabbage. Then we start with char and trout, pickled and smoked, as a mousse and baked - a delight for fans of varying temperatures and textures. The consommé of farm duck is nice and strong, with perfect raviolo. The veal, once as a fillet and then braised, is accompanied by root vegetables, parsley and nut butter, with a pleasingly excellent meat quality. Carinthian grains of pearl barley with apple sauce, grandma's cuisine as a pre-dessert, followed by a creation of farmhouse curd, raspberries and elderberry. The wine list primarily includes Austrian wines, plus a small international selection."
